Silver Surfer

Norrin Radd, better known as the Silver Surfer, is an honorable Zenn-Lavian who became the Herald of Galactus to spare his home planet Zenn-La and his beloved Shalla-Bal from Galactus’ hunger. Endowed with the Power Cosmic, he became silver-like and rides a cosmic surfboard. The Surfer served Galactus for nearly a century, but Galactus had to surpress his herald’s memories and soul so that the Surfer could guiltlessly guide him to inhabited worlds to consume. Norrin’s nobility re-emerged after encountering the Fantastic Four and Alicia Masters when he led Galactus to Earth, causing the Surfer to betray Galactus.
